I'm no pro, but I've been pretty into photography as a hobby for the past few months and learning quickly. This product is about what you would expect quality-wise, but it is severely lacking as a learning tool. It has two auto-modes which do not improve picture quality much at all over the built-in flash that I have on my Canon, and there is no manual adjustment, which I'm learning is pretty much essential for any stand alone flash. I recomend buying something that has a manual adjustment or going the opposite and buying the expensive speedlite that does everything automatically.
