After taking a photography class with my very average digital camera, I decided to ask for this for Christmas. This is a GREAT camera, and very easy to use. I read a few reviews that talk about how confusing the controls are...it is an SLR, which means it isn't some point and shoot camera. The manual is very easy to understand, and I amd suprised how easy it was to learn how to use the camera. There a lot of shooting options on this, and the quality is great. This is just as good as any of the more expensive Nikon cameras. I am very pleased, and will be buying from Nikon from now on, Review by Holly Reed
