Got this camera because I was looking for an upgrade from the point and shoot we had been using. Was going to go for a Nikon or Canon DSLR but was convinced after research and talking to salespeople that the compact system option would be better - more compact, easier to carry around, easy operation, plus interchangeable lenses. Was loving this camera for the first month, then the flash stopped working. Don't know what is wrong with it but am told I will have to ship it back for repair. With a new baby (the reason for the camera) I am not happy about having to return for repair a virtually brand new camera. The pop up flash seemed kind of flimsy, and I guess this is the result. My advice: go for a lower end DSLR and accept the extra weight and size! Review by GPS
