There is just one thing to be aware of.. the LCD screen seems to have a poor seal and lets in dust and/or sand. I returned my first body due to this problem and they gave me a new one, but it seems this body also has that problem. I have been careful and always have it around my neck, don't leave it on the ground or anything like that. I thought that maybe the first time it was because I was at some sand dunes, however I have not been to one with the new camera. I do live in New Mexico which is more dusty than most places so that may explain it.
I put a piece of static plastic over it to see if that helps keep out the dust. It's still usable of course but the sand does make it a bit hard to see the screen in the sun.
I hope you don't have this problem too but I'd be curious if anyone does. I am still giving it 5 stars because it deserves it. It's so much nicer to me than a big old fancy Canon.
