This is a very sturdy and reliable camera. Still getting used to the layout and controls (I've been using EOS for 20 years). Compared to my T2i: Same image quality.
Easier manual focusing, thanks to the brighter viewfinder.
Has silent mode.
Same AF speed (at normal situations)
Lacks peripheral illumination correction.
Has chromatic aberration correction.
Lacks 30p video speed.
Worse battery grip system (needs to remove it to access the camera battery).
Easier to start shooting video.
Same high ISO performance.
